SnookerIQ

An IoT and AI snooker training wearable, currently in development, built from the ground up, from hardware and firmware through to the companion app.

SnookerIQ is a wearable training system that helps snooker players understand and correct their technique in real time. The system uses a dual sensor architecture, head-mounted and cue-mounted ESP32-S3 boards, communicating over Bluetooth Low Energy, with onboard IMU sensor fusion feeding a shot detection state machine that recognizes stance, stroke, and cue movement as they happen.

Behind the wearables is a custom-designed power management PCB, and on the software side an Angular and Capacitor companion app that turns raw sensor data into feedback a player can actually use. The product is planned across three tiers, Basic (head sensor only), Intermediate (head and cue sensors), and Deluxe (head, cue, and arm sensors), so the level of feedback can scale with what a player needs.
